The story
A journey that became a platform.
Faith was born in Zimbabwe and later made her home in the United Kingdom. Her experience of migration and the asylum system became part of a wider commitment: helping people understand the structures around them and find a route through.
In Nottingham, that commitment has taken many forms—from founding the African Women’s Empowerment Forum and building community initiatives to writing A Life Robbed, speaking about refugee leadership and serving the Bilborough ward as an elected councillor.
The thread is consistent. Faith makes space for people who are too often unheard, brings different interests into the same conversation and turns possibility into practical structures for action.
